he finishes his own slice, teeth scraping sauce off his thumb. ] I don't want Teddy here, but I do kinda want Teddy here. A vacation from being royal wouldn't be bad.

I mean, don't you sometimes like more than one person at a time? [ he gives him an alarmed look. ] Am I not remembering this right?

No, yes, I do. [ Chewing, he tries to keep his smile to a minimum. ] But I'm Tim's first real boyfriend, I'm not going to ask him if he's alright sharing me. That would be devastating for him.

Well, yeah. [ he pulls his legs up onto the couch for Maximum Coziness. ] I guess if it's not something he's used to. [ considering how queer the young avengers were and are, sometimes billy blessedly forgets that not everyone has the same luck. ]

I'm also ... not really polyamorous.

[ He snorts, amused. ]

It might look that way from all the kissing strange doctors and whatnot, but I wouldn't like to share someone I was with.

Romantically, sexually, or both? [ he tilts his head back to squint up at him thoughtfully. ]

[ So in every way. His crust is aimed at Billy's forehead. ]

[ that's rude, loki. he catches the crust just like the pineapple, but warps it into psychedelic bubbles. ]

Hm. [ he continues to eye him as the bubbles float away or pop, but then his brows loft and he settles down again. ] Good to know.

[ He leaaaaans into Billy, over his lap to grab another pizza box. ]

[ he pokes him in the ribs ticklishly. ]

Maybe it was research for the future.

Not really something you need research for when you could just magic your way into the future and check.

[ He swats at that hand! Illegal!! ]

[ he yelps at the swat, but it just encourages his fingers against loki's sides. ]

That's cheating.

[ Managing to get his pizza safely to one side, he clamps his other grip around those roving fingers to hold Billy's hand prisoner against the back of the couch. Not hurting him, just stopping him from moving. At all. ]

[ he pulls at his hand once as a token effort, then huffs. ]

I'd rather wait to find out what happens. I'm not ready for any Demiurge business anytime soon, anyway.

[ joke's on you, billy, considering recent comics. ]

[ After a few more long, annoying moments, he gives him back his hand (mostly so he can stop pepperoni falling off his slice, priorities). ]

Are you polyamorous, Billy? Billious? Billarium.

I don't know. Probably not. [ a pause to give it deeper consideration. ] I don't like the idea of sharing Teddy with someone else, anyway. But maybe it would have depended on who I dated.

So some people you would love less and be able to share out?

[ He words it with deliberate callousness, provoking him with a quirked brow and smirk. ]

No, not that, I don't think. Just-- you know, the idea of polyamory has never been anything Teddy and I considered. We've always been so wrapped up in one another.

[ he trails off, hesitant, then shrugs slightly. ] Maybe if I'd dated someone who'd introduced the idea, or we had a different dynamic. I'm pretty adaptable.

Seems like it would be a waste.
