[ Managing to get his pizza safely to one side, he clamps his other grip around those roving fingers to hold Billy's hand prisoner against the back of the couch. Not hurting him, just stopping him from moving. At all. ]

[ he pulls at his hand once as a token effort, then huffs. ]

I'd rather wait to find out what happens. I'm not ready for any Demiurge business anytime soon, anyway.

[ After a few more long, annoying moments, he gives him back his hand (mostly so he can stop pepperoni falling off his slice, priorities). ]

I don't know. Probably not. [ a pause to give it deeper consideration. ] I don't like the idea of sharing Teddy with someone else, anyway. But maybe it would have depended on who I dated.

So some people you would love less and be able to share out?

[ He words it with deliberate callousness, provoking him with a quirked brow and smirk. ]

No, not that, I don't think. Just-- you know, the idea of polyamory has never been anything Teddy and I considered. We've always been so wrapped up in one another.

[ he trails off, hesitant, then shrugs slightly. ] Maybe if I'd dated someone who'd introduced the idea, or we had a different dynamic. I'm pretty adaptable.

Seems like it would be a waste.

[ he goes a little pink in spite of himself, rolling his eyes fondly. ] Realistically, no one's sharing me with anyone, now or.. you know, eventually.

[ The way he finishes chewing, swallowing, and chases the sauce off the corner of his lips with a lick as he slides a Look at Billy, the patience of centuries in his eyes as they flick up-and-down over him.

The whole apartment shivers with a breath of Loki's magic, a subtle answering tremor. ]

Maybe. [ He demurs to it with a shrug, tossing the TV remote to Billy's lap. ] Don't pick anything too naff.

I don't know what naff is, but I'm going to pick the gooiest historical romance I can find.

[ there will be bodices and peasant shirts and petticoats. possibly also pirates if he can fit them all in. ]

You may as well peep in Asgard.

Asgard doesn't usually have cinematic pirates. [ .. as he scrolls through the channels. ] Besides, maybe I'll get corset-inspired.

[ Flicking pepper at him. ]

[ he squawks at the pepper assault, ducking away from loki to the other end of the couch, but he's grinning as he straightens back up and stretches his legs out along the cushions. ]

I'm just saying, [ he says sagely, ] I've seen some nice outerwear ones. [ he pushes his toes under loki's thigh like it's going to keep them warm or something. ]

[ If his toes stay there long enough he might warm up Loki's leg. ]

As a connoisseur of corsets and scanty outfits, I feel like it's important to insist you have them made to your exact dimensions for your own comfort. It's been a while since I wore a bustier but it was not off the rack.

[ his grin drifts into fond territory. ] I'm not even a little surprised. Don't worry, I don't think I have the confidence for something like that, anyway.

[ somehow, the bodysuit of his uniform is easier to handle than the idea of wearing something that's technically lingerie as fashion. ]

I like when you wear outfits that show how long your legs are. [ even as deeply and happily married as billy is, loki's still enjoyable to look at. ] You used to wear this coat I thought framed you really nicely.
