there was no reason NOT to do it
we don't need to stand back just because thor is here
he hasn't been protecting anyone here for months, we don't need him to fly in with his hammer and save us
we can protect ourselves
i can do that for us

I'm not really invested in protecting a whole city. The few I do, I will look for. That's all.
