[ A mouthful of noodles is slurped up as Loki rolls his eyes, stabbing his carton. There's no point lying about this, he cares too much about the subject matter, so he gives Stephen a significant, world-weary look. ]

Would I be eating noodles at this time of day if I could be getting laid instead?

No. Magic is not boring. [ He still remembers his first time, so that's at least a slightly informed opinion. ] I'm not sure how relevant that is to maintaining a relationship.

Because Peter loves it, he used to delight in me being a magical wizard-like deity who could show him the world Aladdin-style. This whole world is very distracting though, it has only swelled with more colourful folk since my arrival.

If I can hold the abilities of people I know but aren't dating in high regard I don't think it's too much to ask that my own brilliance is recognised. Occasionally.

I don't see him as often. When we got together I would leave the window open for him to swing in whenever he was done patrolling, now it lets in little more than a breeze so I ... texted him that I had closed it.

[ Ouch. A pause, suddenly very aware that he's maybe not the best person to have dragged Loki down this line of questioning. Nevermind. We can only do our best. ]

... That sounds like a conversation that needs having.

[ Slurp-a-lerp, what good noodles they are. Definitely not giving him a look that says he doesn't want to have that talk. ]

Mm. [ Confirmation and acknowledgement both. The hard talks are the worst, he can't argue there. ] In the meantime, try not to assume your feelings are facts. —I know that's easier said than done.
