He's trying to figure his power out. I thought with a bit of guidance from someone who understands building illusions, he could push his powers more usefully for himself. And, of course, he needs to see if he can build up stamina with his spell work.

The reason I feel you more suited than Strange is that I know what the magic of a Sorcerer Supreme is. And Balthier's magic isn't that formulaic. It's clearly more thought and creativity. And it seems an echo of another world's magic, his own. Which means a more creative teacher.

If I thought Stephen could do it, then I would teach him.
