You're creating constructs without meaning to, I did that for a while. You have to be more aware of where your magic is going, if it is indeed growing, otherwise it will build itself up in whatever way it can. It may even work against you.

I did it because I was trying to unconsciously thwart myself, I wasn't aware of it either while it was going on. You need to uproot whatever issue is troubling you.
